Dr. Joseph A. Narde, DDSDr. Joseph A. Narde, DDS, attended Oklahoma State University for 3 years as an undergraduate. He was accepted into the University of Oklahoma School of Dentistry during his junior year, where he graduated in 1989.
Following graduation, he joined the U.S. Army. During his five years of service, he completed the Army Dental Corps, a 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at Ft. Benning, GA, and was the top graduate from this program in 1990. He then served 3 years in Germany with "Big Red One" Forward Division in Goeppingen; followed by service with 7th Corp and 7th Medcom.
Following his service in the military, Dr. Narde chose to make his home in Columbus, GA. Dr. Narde has served the residents of Columbus, GA, and surrounding areas through private practice since 1994. During this time, he has continued to pursue his education by completing the Maxi-Course in Implant Dentistry through the Medical College of Georgia in 2000, completing a 1-year education program with American Orthodontic and obtaining his certification in Orthodontics in 2004, and furthering his education in Sleep Dentistry.
Dr. Narde is an active member of his community. He was part of the Jaycees from 1995-2000, and was nominated for the JR Allen Memorial Award in 2000. He has volunteered and served at various dental health fairs. He has been active with the Columbus Technical College Dental Hygiene Program since 1998, where he also served on the Hygiene Board and Columbus Technical College Foundation for several years.
His faith in God has given him a heart to serve people. He enjoys reading the Bible, especially the book of Psalms. He is an active member of Crosspointe Church and he has volunteered on mission trips to Romania, Guatemala, and Haiti. He also helped establish a dental clinic for the underserved at Columbus Technical College that was active from 1998 through 2012.
Another passion besides dentistry and his family is the Columbus Cottonmouths Hockey Team. He has been the team dentist since the team was formed. Hobbies that he enjoys outside of the office include gardening, volleyball, and riding his Harley. He and his wife Rhonda are parents of two children, Olivia and Jacob; and they enjoy spending time with their young grandson, River.
Dr. Amanda WeigtDr. Amanda Weigt has been with Willow Point for 2 years and is a wonderful addition to our practice family. She graduated with honors from Samford University in Birmingham, AL, and then attended Dental School at the University of Alabama. She joined the Air Force and completed her General Dentistry residency in Texas at Sheppard AFB. Dr. Weigt fulfilled her active duty commitment at Moody AFB in Valdosta, GA, and continues to serve her country in the USAF Reserves.
Dr. Weigt grew up moving every few years with her parents who were in the Navy. Her favorite countries to visit are Portugal, Denmark, Germany, and Spain.
She and her husband Sean have been married for 2 ½ years. Her sweet, spunky daughter Riley just turned 1. As a family, they attend both Pierce Chapel UMC and St. Anne Catholic Church. They are raising their daughter to respect all faiths.
In her leisure time, Dr. Weigt enjoys horseback riding, CrossFit, photography, swimming, reading, and her dog Teensie. She is a staunch Alabama football fan, as well.
